Hour 1: Introduction to Eventbot – Theory and Hands-On

  • 15 Minutes Theory: Understanding Eventbots
    • Overview of what an Eventbot is and how it can use diverse content sources (text, video, etc.) to create a comprehensive healthcare knowledge base.
    • Examples of Eventbot applications in healthcare, including patient education, content querying, and knowledge base management.
  • 45 Minutes Hands-On: Building an Eventbot
    • Step-by-step guidance on configuring an Eventbot, integrating multiple content sources, and setting up query functionalities.
    • Practical exercises to build a structured knowledge base and learn effective data integration.

Hour 2: Reliable Agent Development – Theory and Hands-On

  • 15 Minutes Theory: Ensuring Reliability in Responses
    • Understanding key elements that make an agent reliable, such as handling varied inputs and maintaining response accuracy.
    • Discussion on healthcare-specific applications, including accurate responses for patient triage, symptom-checking, and healthcare inquiries.
  • 45 Minutes Hands-On: Developing a Reliable Conversational Agent
    • Participants will create an agent geared toward healthcare applications, focusing on tasks such as symptom-checking and patient support.
    • Group exercises for designing, testing, and refining agents to ensure they handle diverse user scenarios accurately and empathetically.

Hour 3: Applying Conversational Intelligence to Real-World Use Cases

  • Group Activity: Participants apply learned skills to real-world healthcare scenarios or select from provided case studies.
    • Customizing the Eventbot and Reliable Agent for healthcare applications such as patient follow-up, health data inquiries, and patient education.
    • Groups will test and review their solutions, with feedback on expanding the applications to other domains if desired.
