Now, in his current role, Vaidyanathan is working with all major insurance partners for building up new products that help leverage the digital channels for handling the unmet needs and to derive value from insurance products, for a vast majority of customers.

A post graduate in Business Administration from IIM Bangalore and an engineer from College of Engineering Guindy, Vaidyanathan commenced his business career as a Senior Associate with the Boston Consulting Group where he was instrumental in setting up new market entry strategies and long-term business vision for some of the large conglomerates of the country. He then took up the role of Head of Strategy for Royal Sundaram, India’s oldest private insurance company where, for over 6 years, he led the company’s strategy on M&A, growth, and profitability, leading it to become one of the most profitable general insurer in the country, in 2013. He was also recognized for his efforts as a Global Leader for Royal & Sun Alliance, a $9-billion insurance conglomerate and member of FTSE 100 London, in 2012.
