Born in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia in 1960, he received his high school education at SM Jinjang and Victoria Institute. He was the Head Prefect and active in the social and extracurricular activities. He received his Bachelor Degree of Computer Science in West Virginia University, U.S. in 1983.

Over 30 Years of Experience in microelectronics, telecommunication, Internet, Private Equity (PE) fund management, Family Office fund, medical/Online healthcare, IOT, Block Chain and Artificial Intelligence industry. He started his career in Silicon Valley, California as a R&D engineer and have developed VLSI Layout Verification DRC/ERC tools, Place and Route tools and also developed the second generation of Digital Simulator DSLII that ran 100x faster than DLSI.

He founded Daisy Systems Asia Pacific operation and later he also founded Synopsys Asia Pacific and set up offices in China, Singapore, Hong Kong, Korea, Taiwan and India, building the revenue over USD70M in 5 years. He left corporate life with US company as the General Manager for Asia Pacific in 1996 and started his own business in 1997.

He was the pioneer working with local industrial leaders in setting Government funded ASIC Common Design Center in Taiwan, now renamed as CIC, and have taken the same concept to Korea and multiple cities in China. Through this program, hundreds of local IC design companies have been incubated and some of them were public listed.
