Dr(Col) Anil Dhall has special interests in Complex Coronary Interventions, Peripheral Interventions, Carotid Angioplasty, Endovascular Aortic Aneurysm Repair, Cardiac Resynchronisation Therapy and has taught, proctored and demonstrated techniques all over the world. He has a keen interest in Preventive cardiology and developing improved processes for STEMI care.

He is a Fellow of American College of Cardiology, European Society of Cardiology, Society for Cardiovascular Angiography and Interventions, Heart Rhythm Society and Cardiological Society of India. At Delhi Heart & Lung institute, he leads the Endovascular, Carotid, Cardiac Resynchronization, Congenital, Chronic Total Occlusion and Complex PCI program of the hospital and contributes to outreach, academic development and patient education initiative.

He introduced sensitive performance indicators for quality assurance and ethical business development. Dr Anil Dhall developed Endovascular Interventions, Complex coronary Interventions and organized a 24/7 responsive Acute MI Primary Angioplasty program. He also succeeded in starting an Acute Stroke Intervention program and helped coordinate multidisciplinary Acute cardiovascular care. Under his leadership, several academic programs including training activities for doctors, nurses and paramedics, international clinical trials and regular medical audits with the aim of improving patient outcomes were initiated. Dr Anil Dhall was also responsible for the revenue and business growth of the department. In a short while, he helped establish the department as a center of excellence in Cardiology.

Prior to his tenure at Artemis Hospital, he was at Max Devki Devi Heart & Vascular Institute, Saket, as Senior Consultant and Unit Head. Due to his versatility and vast experience from his Armed Forces background, he brought to the Institute, dedicated, disciplined and ethical clinical practice in all sub specialties of Interventional Cardiology. He spent 25 years in the Indian Armed Forces before taking voluntary premature retirement from his appointment as Senior Adviser & Professor (Medicine & Cardiology) at Army Hospital (Research & Referral) Delhi Cantt. He has also been Associate Professor (Medicine & Cardiology) at Armed Forces Medical College, Pune.

His service tenure provided him rich clinical and administrative experience including a deputation with the United Nations Organization. He was responsible for setting up, establishing and managing the Interventional cardiology program and starting the first Cardiac Catheterisation Laboratory of Army Hospital (Research & Referral), Delhi Cantt. Dr Anil Dhall awarded the SENA MEDAL for Distinguished Service to the Armed Forces in 2005 by the President of India. He has been a postdoctoral teacher and examiner in Cardiology and has guided ICMR, AFMRC and other research activities.
