Dr K Moidu is at Hofstra University as Professor and Program Director for Health Informatics. He is a medical graduate from the Armed Forced Medical College, Pune and earned his doctorate in Medical Informatics from the Linköping University in Linköping, Sweden.

Dr Moidu has held operational leadership roles: at Orlando Health; worked with the Medical Staff to establish physician governance on HIT initiatives, such as the Computerized Provider Order Entry that resulted in adoption rate of 95% in 2009. In Ambulatory setting; as CIO and CMIO for Family Physicians Group of Florida he led data-driven operations with an in-house development of an “Applied Analytics” platform. In 2013, he was named “CIO of the Year” in Florida by Orlando Business Journal (OBJ) in the big business category.
