Soura Bhattacharyya is the Co-Founder & CEO of Lattice Innovations Pvt Ltd, a medical technology design and development firm based in Delhi. Lattice offers technology design services to hospitals, clinics, and startups – through a systematic process of needs assessment, workflow design, rapid prototyping, and build-for-manufacture.
Prior to starting Lattice, Soura was the CTO and Head of HR for Glocal Healthcare, a chain of rural hospitals headquartered in Kolkata. While at Glocal, he led the team that developed LitmusDx, India’s first indigenous clinical decision support system for general physicians, and LitmusEx, a multi-location hospital ERP system. Soura led hospital process improvement program across 5 locations, to standardize hospital operations and improve quality of care and efficacy of cure. He also designed a healthcare management program jointly with IIM Calcutta, in order to create a pipeline of managerial talent for Glocal.
Soura started his healthcare career with OmniGuide Inc., where he evaluated new clinical applications for a breakthrough laser microsurgery device invented in MIT. In this role, he interacted with clinicians in clinical centers of excellence such as Cleveland Clinic, MD Anderson Cancer Center, Columbia University, Mt. Sinai School of Medicine, Mayo Clinic, Massachusetts General Hospital, and Stanford University.
Soura is a member of the Technology Review committee for CAMTech, a global consortium that supports technology development in low and mid-income countries. He holds a B.Tech (Honors) in Chemical Engineering from IIT Kharagpur, and an MBA (High Distinction) from the Harvard Business School.
