Dr V K. Singh superannuated as Surgeon Rear Admiral after 37 years in national & international assignments. He earned MBBS, Masters in Hospital Administration, Diplomate National Board in Hospital and Health Care Management and M Phil. He was awarded VSM (Distinguished Services Medal) for services at Zambia by the President of India and commendation by Zambia. He had been deputy chief medical officer of United Nations, visited/served in 32 countries, adjunct professor of Massachusetts Institute of Technology, (MIT) Zaragoza, Spain and adjunct research Professor- International Health Innovation Center, Ivey School of Business, Canada, consultant of National Disaster Management Authority. He was president and is fellow of Academy of Hospital Administration, founder director of International Institute of Health Management Research, chairman, Health Care Division of Quality Council of India. Developed European Foundation for Quality Management (EFQM) model for Healthcare in India released by Union Health Minister.
Presently, he is Managing Director of InnovatioCuris, Director of Healthcare Asia for Lean Healthcare Excellence-Simpler, chairman Indian Society Health Professionals, visiting professor of Indian Institute Management and Indian Institute of Technology and authored book Innovations in Healthcare Management: Cost-Effective and Sustainable Solutions that was published in USA in 2015.
