Dr. Tarun is a Clinician, Digital Health Evangelist and early-stage VC investor.
He is an Investor and Board Member at Utilis Capital, a technology-focused micro venture capital fund that backs and empowers startups that seek rapid yet sustainable growth.
He has been a serial healthcare entrepreneur with deep clinical experience and passion for digital health. During his tenure as Vice President Healthcare Mobility Services at BioQuest Solutions, Tarun successfully created and deployed over 25 consumer-centered mHealth products serving more than 2 Million people across India.
Collectively, he has 14 years of first-hand experience in the healthcare ecosystem as a doctor, pharma consultant, hospital consultant, and technology solution architect, conferring him with astute identification of customer needs, business opportunity, and technology solutions.
Tarun holds an MBBS degree from the University of Mumbai and a Diploma in Hospital Administration. He garnered 6 years of full-time clinical experience in different specialties of internal medicine in India and the National Health Service, United Kingdom.
Presently he enjoys the dynamism of startups and currently evangelizes new digital health products and platforms through financial investment, consulting, advisory, and pro-bono contribution.
