Dr. Sanjay Sharma has over 17 years’ experience in clinical practice, Since 2012, he has been practicing podiatric surgery in Bangalore at various hospitals after completing his fellowship in Diabetic Foot from Banner Hospital, Tucson, USA.
He is also an alumnus of the Indian Institute of Management, (IIM) Bangalore, and University of California, Berkeley. He has also completed his MDP programs in Health Management / Hospital Administration from IIM Ahmedabad and AIIMS – New Delhi. Sanjay is the Founder of APTA FootSecure, Sanjay is also a Co-founder of Yostra Labs and promoter of People Health and Mediknit. Sanjay is also a mentor for start-up’s at NSRCEL, IIM Bangalore, and on the advisory board of various MedTech start-ups and Public Companies. Dr. Sanjay Sharma is an inventor in the MedTech space, has multiple patents in the MedTech and Telemedicine.
Presently, He is the National Treasurer & Joint Secretary of Telemedicine Society of India; National Joint Secretary of Indian Podiatry Association. He has trained more than 500 doctors in Diabetic Wound Management / Debridement through IPA. He has authored multiple papers in the MedTech and Podiatry topics.
