Dr S Venkat is an Associate Professor in Operations Management at Indian Institute of Management Lucknow. He has around 28 years of teaching and research experience gained from premier Institutes in India and Singapore. Dr. Venkat is a graduate in Mechanical Engineering, post graduate in Industrial Engineering and Ph. D in Operations Management.

He has published around 100 papers in various peer reviewed international and national journals and conferences. He is also certified in Lean Healthcare. His teaching and research interest include Healthcare Management, Operations and Supply Chain Management, Sustainability of SMEs and SME Cluster Development, Operations in religious organisations etc.
