Surgeon Captain Dr. B. Vijaya Kumar is a highly decorated Indian Navy veteran, medical officer, and accomplished healthcare administrator with over 27 years of experience in military and corporate healthcare. He has held prominent leadership roles, including Director & Captain (Medical Services) in the Indian Navy, Medical Operations Leader for Operation Samudra Setu, and Executive Director of KIMS Hospitals, where he spearheaded the establishment of a 300-bed tertiary care hospital and multiple specialty centres. A Gold Medalist in MBA Hospital Administration and an alumnus of IIM Lucknow and the Indian School of Business, he brings extensive expertise in healthcare operations, strategic leadership, hospital management, and medical education.
