Dr. Sanjeev K. Singh is the Medical Director and a Professor of Paediatrics and Hospital Administration at Amrita Hospital, Faridabad. He is a globally recognized Antimicrobial Resistance (AMR) Champion and a leading voice in quality and patient safety.Previously the Chief of Medical Services at Amrita Institute of Medical Sciences, Kochi, Dr. Singh has a distinguished background that includes working as a Regional Coordinator for a Disease Eradication Program at WHO-India. He is a highly published researcher and has authored the book, “Hospital Infection Control Guidelines: Principles & Practices.” Dr. Singh advises Indian state governments and serves as an external consultant to the WHO on policy, quality interventions, and antimicrobial stewardship. He is highly decorated, having been named a “Hero of Infection Control” by APIC (US) and holding a fellowship in Patient & Healthcare Worker Safety from the University of Virginia. He continues to shape healthcare standards as the Vice Chairman of the Research Committee at NABH.
