Prof. Sanjiv Kumar is a renowned global public health leader with 47 years of experience across more than 30 countries, spanning roles from primary healthcare to senior leadership, including Executive Director of NHSRC, Director of IIHMR Delhi, and Senior Advisor at UNICEF. An alumnus of AIIMS with MBBS, MD, DNB, and an MBA from the UK, he currently serves as Chairperson of the Three Domain Leadership Foundation in India. Prof. Kumar has played a pivotal role in major national policy initiatives, including the National Health Policy 2017 and the National Health Research Policy 2022, and has contributed as an expert member or chair across numerous UN and national committees. His exemplary contributions have been recognized with three UN awards, three international awards, two army medals, and four prestigious fellowships. With over 125 publications and book chapters, he is deeply committed to strengthening leadership capacity in healthcare and has trained more than 1,000 health professionals across India and other countries.
