Dr. Harsh Mahajan
Dr. Harsh Mahajan, MD, is a highly distinguished radiologist recognized as a pioneer in MRI and Advanced Imaging in India. After completing his MBBS from MAMC and MD in Radiodiagnosis from PGIMER, Chandigarh, he pursued a Fellowship in MRI from MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, Texas, USA. His pioneering spirit led him to set up one of the first MRI scanners in Delhi in 1991. For his immense contributions to the field, he was awarded the Padma Shri in 2002. He is the Founder & Chairman of Mahajan Imaging & Labs and also chairs CARING (Centre For Advanced Research In Imaging, Neurosciences & Genomics). Dr. Mahajan’s professional influence extends widely; he has served as the Honorary Radiologist to the President of India, National President of the Indian Radiological & Imaging Association, and President of NATHEALTH (Healthcare Federation of India). Currently, he chairs the Health Services Committee of FICCI (2023-2025) and contributes to various government committees focused on indigenous medical technology. Additionally, he is a dedicated humanitarian, serving as the Chairman of Tamana, an NGO running schools for multiply challenged children.
